Senior Automotive Technician -Kaitaia

Join our dynamic team at Hammond Motors, the leading automotive service provider for Ford & Mazda in the beautiful Far North Region. We are seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Senior Automotive Technician to join our team. Duties and responsibilities will include : Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on primarily Ford and Mazda vehicles- Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electronic issues- Provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with manufacturer specifications- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed- Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear and comprehensive explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance- Adhere to established systems and procedures. While Full Time is preferred, there may be the option of Part Time for the right person

1- Be an experienced Qualified Automobile Technician, with that experience detailed on your CV. 2- Have a Full Class 1 driver licence to drive customer and company vehicles. 3- be drug free in order to pass testing. 4-any convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case 5- be fit and healthy enough to perform the duties described.
