Accommodation Housekeeper

Come and join our dynamic and fun housekeeping team here in Rotorua! We run a small family focused accommodation business and are looking for staff to join our team leading into the busy summer period.

Rotorua based employer is looking for a Permanent Part time Hotel Housekeeper to join their team. Duties include working with the housekeeping team, cleaning motel style units for a tourism accommodation property and occasional work cleaning an off-site Airbnb property also.

Primary Objectives • To provide clean and hygenic guest rooms. • To communicate with guests in a friendly respectful manner. • To work in a supportive team environment. • To provide a smooth and seamless cleaning service. • To take pride in their appearance.

Key Tasks • Ensure guest rooms are cleaned to a quality standard, exceeding guests cleanliness standards. • Ensure presentation of rooms are neat and tidy (Curtains, pillows, chair, towel displays). • Services are done efficiently minimizing guest disruption, in a friendly and respectful manner. • Damage and maintenance is reported on discovery to fix immediately. Onsite training will be provided to successful candidate.

Applicants must be physically fit. Applicants must have a class 1 restricted driver licence. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment a Drug test and a Police check. Applicants with previous similar working experience are preferred.
