Commercial and Domestic Cleaner - Rotorua

We are looking to direct employ a full time cleaner for our unique and very special business. A cleaner plays a key role in ensuring that Bliss 2023 ltd maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who are cross functional across a range of floors form, Scrubbing, Sweeping Burnishing, Stripping and Polishing Deep Carpet Shampooing & Extraction on a variety of floors from Concrete, Vinyl, Wood, Carpet and Tiles. The incumbent will also be required to do general cleaning duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning bathrooms and kitchen on daily basis. Core Duties • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors. • Cleaning/sanitizing door handles, handrails, and other high touch areas regularly. • Cleaning restrooms including but not limited to toilets and urinals, sinks and washbasins, restocking dispensers, emptying trash and changing liners, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures and cleaning mirrors. • Spot cleaning walls and doors to remove marks and handprints. • Dusting and polishing. • Cleaning internal windowpanes and glass fixtures, e.g., balustrades. • Before/after event cleans as rostered. • Cleaning of office areas, boardrooms, and meeting rooms. • Carry out deep cleans when required. • Flexibility to cover other shifts is required. Team Working • Adopt a proactive and professional communication style. • Must have a friendly and approachable manner and be comfortable working around members of the public. • Work constructively and harmoniously as part of an existing team. • Close liaison with the rest of the cleaning team, and the security and site maintenance teams.
