Crew Member ( Car Grooming)

A car groomer company based in Westgate is seeking a Crew Member to join their team immediately. You will be providing full administration support and exceptional customer service. The role is a full-time permanent role with a rotating roster, and as the right person is critical to success of the company, there is some flexibility around hours of work. Minimum working hours are 30 hours per week. The role will ideally suit someone with exceptional customer service skill, a highly motivated and organised approach. Your core duties include:-

Yard- set up the detailing yard and maintain the best and well-presented detailing yard Clients – to exceed client’s expectations in regard to all car detailing and services provided Vehicle Detailing – to produce the best detailing whilst maintaining cost budgets Team work – be a good team player aiming to exceed fellow staff members expectations. To happily and professionally resolve any conflict by the end of the day’s service. Quality – to aim for the highest quality Chemicals – To have a sound knowledge of all chemicals used and related health and safety procedures. If not, information and training will be provided. Knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace Manage the daily operations of the business. Key responsibilities include scheduling, chemical inventories and general maintenance. Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.

Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations. Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.

Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition. Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.

Managing inventory and reordering supplies. Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests.

Washing, drying, polishing and waxing vehicle exteriors vacuuming vehicle interiors, and dry cleaning carpets and upholstery applying cleaning agents to remove stains from vehicle interiors washing tyres and wheel arches, and blackening tyres washing and polishing vehicle windows emptying and cleaning compartments in vehicles.

Ideal candidate : Has previous experience in detailing but not essential, attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills,ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. Has willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality. Availability to work Thursday -Sunday and on public holidays. You'll be responsible for detailing, washing and vacuuming cars.

1. Previous experience in detailing preferred but not essential. 2. Must have Class 1 Full driver license. 3. Must be physically fit to be able to do the tasks (walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.) 4. Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests. 5. Must disclose all convictions as they will be considered on case-by-case basis. 6. Must be punctual and be able to work extra hours when required. 7. Must be able to work on rostered shifts and available to work in the weekends and public holidays. 8. Must have an updated CV with at least 2 work-related contactable referees.
