The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of physical conditions, injuries, or diseases. The role involves developing personalized treatment plans aimed at improving the patient’s physical function, mobility, and overall quality of life. The Physiotherapist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions to diagnose injuries, illnesses, or functional limitations. • Use diagnostic techniques such as physical examinations, patient history, and specialized tests. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the patient’s specific needs and goals. • Utilize a variety of treatment techniques including exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other modalities. • Educate patients and their families on exercises, pain management, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. • Provide guidance on the proper use of mobility aids and adaptive equipment. • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. • Provide rehabilitation services aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing further injury. • Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards in documentation.
Job Requirements
Education: •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Licensure/Certification: •Current state licensure as a Physiotherapist. •Certification in relevant areas (e.g., sports physiotherapy, manual therapy) is a plus. Experience: •Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. •Specialized experience in areas such as sports injuries, orthopedics, geriatrics, or pediatrics may be required depending on the position.
