Assistant Manager

An Otorohanga based employer is looking for two assistant managers. You will be required to work roastered shifts as required with hours that vary from Monday to Sunday 10am to 10pm. You will ideally need to have customer service experience or a professional attitude that can transfer into an assistant manager role, duties required for this role will be as follows:
• Assist with recruitment and training staff members and delegating tasks and duties to them. • Assist in making key decisions about stock control including stock tracking, purchasing, discounting and clearance. • Daily cash reconciliation, petty cash and banking. • Assist manager in day-to-day operation of the store. • Assist in monitoring and achieving sales budgets. • Responding to customer complaints and comments. • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone and face to face. • Dealing with returns or exchange of goods and deciding appropriate action. • Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met

Job Requirements
Ideally you will need to have at least 6 months of work experience and an LCQ certificate but if you do not an NZQA Level 2/3 qualification could be sufficient.
