Farm Assistant - Tirau-South Waikato

As a dairy farm assistant , we are looking for someone with 3-6 month at least experience in NZ farms . If you are reliable, efficient, honest and confident in running a farm when required then please do apply. The farm assistant will be working with a herd manager, 2IC and Farm Business Manager and will be milking cows (600 through a 29ashb). We are looking for a potential applicant to know how to treat sick cows and draft out ab cows and springers confidently . The preferred applicant must know how to drive tractors and implements and be confident on 2 wheelers. Some pasture management is required. We are looking for a farm assistant that should not be shy to feed calves up to high standards, must love cows. Our preferred applicant must have a full clean driver’s license, be drug and smoke free with a clean criminal record. A Pre - employment drug test will be carried out. You will be working within a friendly, well-established Team within a good working environment.
