Fast Food Cook Wanted – Rosedale

We have local established fast-food restaurant looking for a fast-food cook with a hunger to develop current skill set and be interested in developing and growing with the company as it potentially grows into a franchise.

You will be confident in the following: • Prepare and cook burgers or tacos according to specific recipes. • Assist in washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing ingredients for cooking. • Adhere to recipe instructions for seasoning, cooking, and serving dishes. • Maintain consistency in food preparation, aligning with company and health standards. • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed. • Sterilize all utensils and cooking equipment before use. • Regulate the temperature of kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and chillers. • Clean food prep areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils regularly. • Discard expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift. • Follow proper food handling protocols. • Prepare and package burgers or tacos for delivery orders.

Preferred applicants will have a minimum of six months of relevant work experience as a fast-food cook or similar role. You will need to be available to work on weekends and late evenings, you will have a team player attitude and good time management. You will need to be physically fit and able to stand for a long duration. Finally you will be hardworking and passionate about your position, taking pride in your work and pay close attention to detail.
