Duty Bar Manager

Local Foxton employer is looking for a Duty Bar Manager for part time work. Duties involved in the role include: • Opening the club premises • Preparing the bar and main area ready for opening • Operating the bar in a manner that complies with all liquor licensing requirements, host responsibility and club code of conduct • Providing the members with excellent customer service • Cleaning of bar area and clearing and wiping down members tables • Cleaning of glassware, utensils and bar equipment, including regular acid washing of glasses • Controlling sound and TV systems • Prepare bar snack meals for any members as requested by Members. • Keep the chiller stocked up and display fridge full. • Ensuring all equipment associated with the bar is operating correctly and advising the Club Manager of any issues. • Ensure correct payments are made and completing till balances • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure welfare of staff, volunteers, and members, this includes being the main building warden for evacuations or emergencies • Ensure the bar and club are locked up at the end of the evening and bar area is clean and ready for the next day • Promote the club and its services • Greet visitors to the club and refer to the duty executive member to sign in • Advise the Club Manager of stock requirements • Always maintain a professional attitude • Carry out any other duties the Club Manager may require, at busy times helping out the kitchen.

Part Time 15 Hours per week Fri / Sat 4pm until late

LCQ and Bar Managers Certificate required or have the ability to obtain. Must have experience in a similar role. You will need to be reliable a team player and customer service focused. You must also be able to pass a police check and drug test to be considered for this role.
