Work varies from commercial and residential structural steel manufacture and installation, maintenance and repairs of heavy transport, earth moving equipment and farm machinery, as well as general jobbing work. Experience in general engineering and fabrication is essential. Some site work is required from time to time. The ideal candidate will: • Have a qualification or 3+ years experience as a Welder Fabricator / Fitter Welder in structural fabrication and/or general engineering environment. • Be able to read and interpret plans and engineering drawings • Committed to good health and safety practices • Work to deadlines • Have excellent communication skills and take instruction • Be able to work unsupervised and in a team both on and off site • Be enthusiastic, motivated and show initiative • Work to a very high standard with meticulous attention to detail • Be self motivated, punctual and ready to work • Take pride in your work from start to finish Fine Laser Cutting Services is based in Papakura, Auckland and has a strong reputation for top quality workmanship.
