Youth Support Worker

Employer is seeking Support Workers. You will be empathetic and positive with a can-do attitude for . The role involves supporting youth to achieve their goals both at home and within the community. Some knowledge of complex trauma and trauma informed care is required although full training will be given. This position offers a positive, varied, and supportive team environment where every day brings new challenges and the opportunity to make a real difference. A calm, resilient manner with the ability to overcome obstacles with empathy and adaptability along with exceptional communication skills and the ability to think on your feet are some of the skills you would bring to this role.
Job Requirements
Hold a full current New Zealand driver’s license. Be eligible to work in New Zealand Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost) Willingness to undergo vetting as part of the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
