Excavator Operator

New Opportunity has arisen for the right person! Duties include: operating a range of vehicles, including wheeled and track excavators, trucks, and more. Good time management and planning are essential - as you'll be liaising with multiple parties, including the client, subcontractors, and suppliers. You may also need to supervise / coordinate multiple team members. While most of your time will be spent on a machine, you must be flexible and willing to work as a labourer when required. Projects will include foundations, driveways, patios, car parks, light commercial buildings, and more. A high standard of personal presentation and workmanship, along with strong customer service skills, is required. Weekend work will be required at times.

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience operating excavators. - Minimum class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence with WTR endorsements. - A full, clean (manual) NZ driver's licence - Self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised. - Be a team player with good communication skills. - Ability to complete a job to a high standard. - Proficiency with the use of tablets, smartphones, and construction management software. - Proficiency in demonstrating the safe use of power tools - A good attitude towards Health and Safety. Construct Safe, Site Safe, and First Aid certifications (preferred but not essential). - MUST be able to pass a drug test. - Convictions case by case
