About this job
The Tour Host plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of a quality on-water service to our customers. They ensure the safety and comfort of our customers and carry-out deckhand and crew duties accordingly to support the safe and effective operation of our fleet and associated infrastructure.
The role is based on a guaranteed minimum of 30-worked hours per week across a 5-day working week but subject to customer demand and/or role requirements actual worked hours could be higher.
Job Requirements
Experience working within the tourism industry. Experience working within the maritime sector, at sea and around vessels. Experience within a customer driven and focused environment. Computer literate. Tech savvy and embraces the integration of supporting technology. Can confidently speak to and engage with large groups of people. Competent in delivering presentations. Excellent communication skills. A team player with a strong work ethic. Ability to work unsupervised, reliable and uses their initiative. Trustworthy with Integrity. Cultural awareness. Safety conscious Workplace first aid Boat master or higher deckhand qualification
