Tennis Coach

A local company in the Shore is looking for a Tennis Coach. Duties includes: Assisting, coaching, training and instructing students in developing and improving various tennis skills, hot shot, squad training Assessing students' tennis skills to determine areas in need of improvement. Coordinating and conducting individual and group tennis lessons for adults and juniors Developing suitable training programmes/school holiday programmes for students based on their age, objectives, and individual skillsets. Developing innovative ways to assist beginner or younger students in learning and remembering the rules of the game. Identifying the learning styles that work best for each student and adapting all coaching methods accordingly. Providing a secure and productive learning environment for students. Scheduling meetings with students' parents or guardians to discuss their progress. Attending students' tennis matches, competitions, and tournaments as required. This role would best suit someone who have • A passion for tennis. • NZQF Level 2 or 3 relevant qualification, or at least one year of relevant experience as a Tennis Coach or Instructor is required. • International Tennis Federation (ITF) Level 1 certificate, USPTR certificate, or equivalent international tennis coach qualification is preferred. • Sound knowledge of various coaching techniques. • Ability to coach all skill levels, from Junior to Adults. • Able to work unsupervised. • Ability to motivate students. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Must pass police check and drug test
