Business Development Representative

A Trucking Company based in Papatoetoe are hiring a Business Development Representative to grow their business.

In this role your duties will be to : Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs - Arrange business meetings with prospective clients - Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives - Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support - Build long-term relationships with new customers.

The ideal applicant will have : Proven working experience as a business development representative, sales executive or a relevant role - Proven sales track record- Experience in customer support is a plus-Proficiency in MS Office -Proficiency in English (Mandarin would be a major advantage) -Market knowledge (Road Civil, Construction and Major Sub Divisions) -Communication and negotiation skills - Ability to build rapport -Time management and planning skills. Formal qualifications in Sales/ Marketing would be a major bonus.

Working from Home is available, and you will manage your own time during standard business hours. There will be travel involved, and there will be reimbursement given as you will be using your own vehicle for work. Overnight stays are also a possibility.

While full time is preferred, there is the opportunity of part time for the right applicant. A 90 day Trial period applies.

1- Have proven working experience as a business development representative, sales executive or a relevant role. 2- That experience is to be detailed on your up to date CV 3- have a Full Class 1 driver licence 4- Have your own reliable vehicle which you will use for travel 5- be willing and able to travel including overnight stays 6- Any convictions are to be disclosed, and will be considered case by case. 7- Fluent English/ communication skills- speaking Mandarin would be an advantage.
