The objective of the role is to efficiently and effectively be an integral part of the warehouse team and assist the manufacturing processes to ensure that production targets are achieved. Integral to this role is the maintenance of and active participation in warehousing duties such as ensuring the flow of raw materials and finished goods are consistently well maintained Picking, packing and dispatching orders. • Stock management • Operating the forklift and reach truck with safety in mind. • Loading and devanning shipping containers. • Complete all documentation accurately and as per specifications and maintaining meticulous records. • Work closely with the Production Manager and Supervisor(s) where necessary to ensure efficiencies across the board. • Ensure order preoperational checks on an machinery/vehicles/etc are completed prior to commencing. • Other daily warehouse duties. Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times. • Reporting any deviations or concerns immediately. • Manage machinery/vehicles by carrying out pre- and post-inspections, cleaning, re-assembly, and fault notifications following prescribed procedures. • Working collaboratively with others to maintain adherence to the company’s policies and goals. • Meet all worker responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, having input into and taking all reasonable, practical steps to ensure own health and safety as well as those of others at work. • Working with the Factory Site Engineer to maintain machinery/vehicles. • Organising the repair of any damaged equipment to ensure safety of the workplace and of work processes • Monitoring factory output to ensure that quality standards are achieved. • Ensuring that customer orders are completed on time, to budget and that the quality standards and targets are met. • Managing the Risk Management Program and Food Safety Program and production areas by completing all the required documents in a timely manner. • Maintaining the warehousing areas in an auditable manner. • Maintaining high levels of hygiene and security standards which includes: o Food Safety Program o Export Dairy Risk Management Program o Organic Materials o Any other licensing that the company may enter into

Job Requirements

Warehousing Duties: Picking, packing, and dispatching orders. Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate records. Operating forklifts and reach trucks safely. Loading and unloading shipping containers. Completing all documentation as per specifications. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Production Manager and Supervisors to enhance efficiency. Ensure preoperational checks on machinery and vehicles are completed. Report deviations or concerns promptly. Collaborate with Factory Site Engineer for machinery maintenance. Health & Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines at all times. Manage machinery and vehicles, including pre- and post-inspections, cleaning, and fault notifications. Ensure workplace safety through timely repair of damaged equipment. Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. Quality & Compliance: Monitor factory output to meet quality standards. Ensure customer orders are completed on time and within budget. Manage Risk Management and Food Safety Programs. Maintain high hygiene and security standards in warehousing areas. Adhere to Food Safety Program, Export Dairy Risk Management Program, and other relevant licensing requirements. Documentation & Reporting: Complete all required documents accurately and on time. Maintain auditable records and manage production area documentation. Skills & Attributes: • Strong planning, organising, productivity and time management skills. • Knowledge of environmental health and safety. • Results and customer focused. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Good verbal and written communication skills. (English) • Good numeracy and computer abilities. • Team player • Ability to work independently and as part of a highly motivated team. • Physically fit with the ability to lift items up to 25kg. • Ready to work on weekends and nightshifts as required.

Must have: A valid forklift license Full NZ driver license Food Safety Handling Certificate - Preferred

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment Convictions are case by case

Days of work
Monday to Saturday either 4pm-midnight, 6pm – 6am, 6am – 6pm. Ideally candidates need to be open to all of these shifts (40 hours per week)
