This exciting position as become available as a Team Leader at one of Rotorua's tourism destinations. No two days are the same.

Duties include:

* Act as the centre person for all operations. * Manage staff and shuffle staff when required. * Complete regular check-ins of all areas of operation to ensure the smooth running of the team. * Allocating tasks to staff and ensuring all daily jobs are completed. * Provide leadership and guidance to other members of staff. * Ensure all transactions and tasks in the front office are completed correctly and that key safety points are conveyed to customers. * When required, process refunds accurately. * Address customer complaints and take steps to remedy where possible or refer to the Manager. * Complete daily end-of-day cash count. * Assist with training of staff. * Ensure clear communication between the Operations and Maintenance teams. * Contact suppliers in a timely manner. * Assist with stock management and labelling of souvenir items. * Actively participate in Health and Safety and have an understanding of all emergency procedures. * Support and help develop a positive workplace culture.

Job Requirements

A great attitude and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided, however candidates with some of the following is preferred. 1. You will have ideally have experience in the Tourism industry. 2. The ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language. 3. A current full driver license and your own vehicle or unrestricted access to one. 4. Excellent grooming and presentation. 5. The ability to work well under pressure and take initiative. 6. Able to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays. 7. Have reliable transport 8. Have experience supervising a team.
