Orchard Hand - Katikati, Tauranga & Te Puke

General maintenance of orchards – the employee is to keep the grounds of the orchard clean and tidy; mowing lawns, weeding, repairing farm buildings and fences, cleaning of farm equipment and vehicles, operating and maintenance of farm machinery, cleaning crates and containers, picking up any rubbish, washing of farm buildings and fences, helping to lay and pick up weed matts, monitoring weather and liaising with supervisor to take swale to channel water out. Keep all communications open and clear. Ensuring all issues are dealt with immediately to avoid unnecessary delays or complications with jobs. Ensure all communications put the business and its services in a good light. Responsible for the Health and Safety for activities that are being supervised or performed at the time on the orchard.
