Indian Cook

An authentic Indian Dining and takeaway in Manurewa is looking for full time permanent Cook.

Duties include: • Prepare a wide range of Indian dishes including curries, tandoori items, breads, and desserts. • Follow traditional and modern recipes to ensure consistency and quality. • Use various cooking methods such as roasting, frying, grilling, and baking. • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature. • Monitor food stock and place orders as necessary. • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. • Adhere to health and safety standards, including food hygiene and sanitation regulations. • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and timely preparation of meals. • Relay information about daily/weekly specials to the front staff to enhance guest experience. • Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences.
