Housekeeping Assistant

Motel in St Johns is looking for Housekeepers to join their team. Duties include: Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. Ensure all areas, such as corridors, elevators, and public spaces, are clean and presentable. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Guest Service by providing excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with guests. Ensure guest privacy and security. Inventory Management. Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies, including toiletries, linens, and cleaning products Maintain a well-organized housekeeping cart and storage areas. Report any inventory shortages or needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Safety and Compliance. Follow all safety protocols. Must pass police check and drug test. Successful candidates will have reliable transport, complete task with attention to detail, get to work every day and hold a good attitude. Must be available to work the weekends and do rostered shifts day and night.
