A local Te Kuiti based Meat Processing Factory seeks Meat Processing Workers for various roles. Vacancies available in following departments; Processing Floor, Freezers and slaughter floor. Applicants must pass a health and drug check and have reliable transport to get to work. You will be psychically fit, a team player, strong, good hygiene practises and be able to stand for long periods of time. Slaughter floor, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days off 12pm - 11.15pm. This role requires you to be able to work with blood, edible and inedible products and offal products. Processing floor, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days off 11.45am - 11pm. This role involves breaking down the carcass, cutting and preparing meats according to customer specification. Freezers, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days off 11.45am - 11pm with other shifts potentially available. This role involves stacking and sorting cartons for specific customers. Identifying products and sorting it to overseas requirements. Scanning and counting product to leave the store. In this role you will need to work in a cold environment. Hours vary dependant on the shift you are working Day Shift – 6am – 3pm approx. Night Shift – 2pm – finish times vary as it is due to stock. The supervisor is ideally looking for a mature candidate to fill these freezers positions. PERKS the employer provides Lunch every Tuesday & Thursday. Job Requirements

To be the successful candidate, you will need to have a reliable transport to get to work, have good hygiene and be physically strong. The ability to pass a drug test is a must.
