Upper Riccarton: A busy Seafood business in Retailing & Wholesale operations is looking for an experienced Fish Filleter.

The successful candidate must be reliable, great personality and proven filleting skill. The person will be responsible for filleting a variety of fish with precision and efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive the freshest and best-prepared seafood products.

Key Responsibilities: • Filleting various types of fish with precision and skill. • Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth and organized workflow. • Meeting production targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work station. • Adhering to food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

Job Requirements

•Available to work on Saturday if busy week or high demand • Proven experience as a fish filleter in a similar environment. • Great knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. • Physically fit, as some regular lifting is required. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. •Excellent teamwork and communication skills. •Able to pass the pre-employment drug test •Employer is willing to consider someone with some minor criminal convictions, a case-by-case basis.

Days of work
Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm, sometimes required to work on Saturday when high demand (40 hours per week)
