Local employer is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team. Duties include: Conduct routine inspections produce to identify quality issues & concerns. Evaluate handling procedures, & storage facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards & regulations. Develop, implement, & monitor quality assurance procedures at food handling departments & processing areas. Audit existing procedures to identify areas for improvement & ensure consistent quality standards. Collect samples of products for testing, including quality, size, purity, & H&S parameters. Analyse samples & determine compliance with regulatory standards. Provide guidance & advice on best practices for maintaining product quality, disease prevention, & pest management. Inspect imported products for biosecurity risks & issue directives to mitigate potential threats. Monitor & enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of diseases & pests. Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, & guidelines pertaining to quality assurance & biosecurity. Ensure regulatory requirements are met. If you meet the requirements Apply now!

Job Requirements

Relevant qualifications or work experience in a similar role. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills. Must pass drug test and police check.

Monday to Friday Roster between - 6am to 4pm (30 hours per week)
