One of New Zealand's community-owned electricity and gas retailer providing energy and broadband plans to properties throughout NZ.is currently recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager. This role is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services. You will have at least 3 months experience in sales, with a proven track record is a must. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the energy or telecommunication industry. You must be available during weekends, and until 8pm on weekdays. Strong customer service background and an ambitious results-driven nature is essential. Prior B2B, door to door, direct sales, or business development experience a benefit. Ability to operate effectively across cross-functional teams and work collaboratively to deliver results and “win together”. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to work as an effective member of a diverse team, as well as the ability to exercise independence, sound judgement and initiative by applying critical thinking skills in overcoming obstacles within tight timeframes.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be able to work Weekends until 8pm. Hold a full driver licence and must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and a MOJ check.

Days of work
Tuesday to Friday 1.30-pm- 8pm Saturday & Sunday 1pm - 8pm (40 hours per week)
