An Engineering company based in Pakuranga is seeking a Assembly Machine Operator to join their team. To succeed in this role, you will need to apply your background and experience in assembling components to produce a wide variety of medical products within defined specifications and tolerances in a timely and efficient manner. You will be precise and detailed focused, motivated to produce high quality products yet able to maintain a flexible approach and attitude due to the variety of work. You will need to apply your initiative and experience to get the job done, and work in an open and collaborative way with all stakeholders. You thrive at being part of a professional team in a fast paced, customer orientated environment that is future and growth focused. Role requirements: • Assemble medical devices in an efficient manner. • Ensure medical devices are assembled to the SOP. (standard operating procedure) • Ensure required production levels are maintained by using job instructions. • Inform the Team Leader of any issues that arise during assembly operation. • comfortable to be working in White Gowned garments. Skills and Experience The company is seeking a motivated self-starter that brings a strong mix of the right attitude, good team fit, professional competency and are recognized among their peers as being at the top of their game and producing quality products. We are seeking a candidate who will ideally have the following attributes: • 1+ years of direct assembly operator experience. • Able to work 5 days a week if need be. • Experience using relevant Quality tools such as verniers and able to use basic hand tools. • Able to read and follow Standard operating procedures. • prior experience working within a medical assembly background is extremely advantageous e.g Fisher & Paykel Healthcare or similar!! The business is offering a market competitive remuneration package of depending on skills and experience, a four-day 40-hour working week from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday with the opportunity for additional hours on Fridays (6:00am - 12:00pm) Please note there will be a requirement for Friday work until at least late August.
