Production Supervisor, Factory

A Wanganui employer seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate and lead the factory staff in the fabrication of high-quality products and E-Waste Recycling Station. Duties include: • Oversee the E-Waste Recycling • Build products and drive production schedules to deliver objectives and outcomes. • Set-up and operate timber/ joinery machinery • Use knowledge of timber characteristics, sizes, and quality • Support the delivery of continuous improvement and optimization of all plant and processes, performance of staff and quality of products manufactured • Improve factory culture by leadership, motivation and training to develop and improve staff skills and performance • Monitor stock control and scrap rates and raw materials requirements in order to keep track of material cost and agreed stock volumes • Ensure policies and procedures are followed to maximize safety, quality, productivity and profitability • Job quoting and pricing as required

• Experienced in Timber Machining and Joinery practices • Time management, organisational, system skills • Demonstrates good communication skills (written and verbal) • Proven supervision and coaching experience • Proven experience in delivering outcomes • Accurate in workmanship with high level of attention to detail • Be familiar working with and able to produce, production drawings • Systems and Microsoft Office knowledge. • Operations budgeting and financial understanding • Able to pass Police and Drug check • Full Drivers Licence
