Ensure check in /out are completed according to procedures. Allocation of rooms for the next day based on revenue reports. Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner. Assist guests, residents & contractors with inquiries. Problem solves guest & residents' complaints. Follow emergency procedures according to procedures. Attend Front Office meetings when required. Be aware of room availability and sensitively manager overbooking situations where late night “bumping” is required. Totally conversant PMS and balance procedures. Run reports and draw up statistical information as required by finance policies and procedures and as requested by the Front Office Manager. Complete computer system backups and save in accordance with finance policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

A service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required. Prior experience working with Opera / opera cloud is required. Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. LCQ Certificate Valid Managers Certificate Valid First Aid Certificate Minimum 12 months’ work experience in a similar position Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance Strata property experience is required

Rostered shift, availability to work weekends, public holidays, evening and graveyard shifts (40 hours per week)

$29.00-$30.16 an hour
