Movenpick is an ice cream store selling a variety of flavoured ice cream along with cookies, muffins and waffles We are looking for a candidate who can lead with excellence, communicate effectively, and present themselves with pride. As a full-time Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in our operations, requiring a commitment of at least 30 hours per week. Additional hours will be available at an hourly rate. Duties include • Maintaining financial record-keeping • Maintaining appropriate stock levels • Managing the store’s promotional activities and displays • Ensuring the store service and standards are fit for purpose and all employees adhere to it • Enforcement of Health and Safety policies • Rostering and ensuring appropriate staff cover all times • Leading and coaching the team on skills such as customer service, cross-sell and up-sell

Job Requirements

Suitable candidates must have • Proven experience in leadership/supervisory role in a retail environment • Basic knowledge of HR policies in NZ • Basic knowledge of accounting principles in NZ • Ability to up-sell and cross-sell the products • A strong sense of teamwork • Great people skills
