About this job

To deliver appropriate and effective service as directed by the General Manager. Have the ability to work independently, being well organised but flexible in carrying out work tasks. Full compliance with Health and Safety legislation relating to building and electrical codes etc. to maintain a safe functional environment for Residents, staff and visitors. To ensure all required checks are carried out in a timely manner prior to the Building Warrant of Fitness each year. All equipment to be maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and in safe working condition. To ensure a safe and functional environment by adhering to all standards, policies and Health and Safety Legislation. To complete all documentation in a timely manner. The servicing and warrant of fitness for the vans to be up to date and Resident safety ensured. Grounds to be kept safe, including drains, cesspits and spouting’s to be checked and cleaned regularly.
