Papatoetoe based employer is looking for an experienced Class 4/5 Tipper Truck & Trailer Driver. Key responsibilities: • Drive a tipper truck and trailer for loading and unloading construction materials. • Operate machinery/excavators to load trucks. • Transport machinery. • Perform light mechanical works when needed. • Login into the online GPS system while driving. • Complete logbooks on online application. • Conduct vehicle inspections using online application. • Fill in the job sheets and timesheets on a daily basis. • Ensure compliance with NZ driving/operating rules. • Ensure compliance with health & safety rules. • Ensure loads are secured to prevent loss and damage. • Conduct pre vehicle inspections from online application. • Wash, clean and grease trucks on a weekly basis. • Maintain cleanliness on site. Ideal candidate must be able to work in a confined space with excavator operators.

Job Requirements

Must hold a clean full NZ Class 4/5 Drivers licence Must pass a Ministry of Justice Check and pre-employment drug test Must have at least 2 years’ experience driving a road ranger gearbox Must have at least 2 years’ experience driving a 6 wheeler tipper truck with a 4 axle tipper trailer. Must have basic mechanical knowledge

Days of work
Monday-Friday (7:30-5:30 pm), Saturday (7:30am- 1:00 pm) (30 hours per week)
