About this job

You will be responsible for: • Visiting work sites to plan and determine the materials and installation requirements • Preparing installation plan, drafts and diagrams • Taking precise measurements of the windows and frames for curtains, blinds, poles and tracks • Measuring and cutting covering materials • Using appropriate tools and drilling holes for screws and bolts • Installing curtain tracks, poles, curtains, blinds, shades, drapes, window dressings and associated accessories in clients’ properties • Testing and ensuring window treatments are properly functioning and aesthetically pleasing • Customising solutions according to specific needs and preferences • Travelling to different job sites to install window treatments

Job Requirements

What you must have for this role: • Minimum of three months of work experience in curtain fitting and installation • Must have knowledge of various curtain and blind materials and installation techniques • Must be able to understand blueprints and diagrams • Being sensitive to colours and patterns • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • High attention to detail • Drug-free • Health and safety conscious • Being reliable with good work ethics • Being able to work at weekends if required • Self-motived and can work independently without supervision
