• Creating and planning menus, calculating labour and food expenses, ordering food supplies • Developing new recipes • Ensuring that the dish quality is well-maintained at a high level during all phases of preparation and presentation • Liaising with managers, dietitians, kitchen and waiting staff and discussing food preparation issues with them • Showing techniques and offering advice on culinary methods and procedures to other kitchen staff • Preparing and cooking food • Understanding the hygiene and safety regulations and explaining and enforcing them • Selecting and training kitchen staff • Freezing and preserving food

Job Requirements

The candidate must have: 1. Three years of work experience as a pastry Cook/Chef (Chinese Cuisine) in a commercial kitchen 2. A Mandarin speaker is preferable.

Monday to Sunday, from 10am-9.00pm (30 hours per week)
