Nationwide agri-tech and herd co-operative which empowers livestock farmers through the delivery of superior genetics and technology is looking for On Farm Assistants. This is seasonal work that will be running from mid August 2024 till May 2025. Positions are based in Winton, Riverton, and Western Southland area and preference will be given to those living in this area. This role involves collecting milk samples from farms and sending them in for testing. You will also be given training to assist with a variety of other services including tagging, weighing, DNA sampling. You will need to be flexible in working hours as there will be early mornings and split shifts. Hours will be between 20 - 40hours depending on time of season. This would suit someone outdoorsy and previous experience on a farm would be preferable but not a requirement.

Must have a full license and own car but employer will look at a restricted if ready to get full Must be able to declare any convictions when applying Must have 2 recent contactable employment references Employer will pay 0.62c a kilometre

Days of work
Split shifts. Sun pm to Fri am. Starts from 4.30am, finish 6pm. (30 hours per week)
