- Planning and designing traffic management plans according to the specific requirements of the site. - Assessing potential hazards and risks associated with traffic management and implementing appropriate control measures. - Coordinating and supervising the installation and removal of traffic management devices, such as signage, barriers, and cones. - Ensuring compliance with New Zealand's traffic management regulations, standards, and guidelines. - Conducting regular inspections and audits of traffic control measures to ensure they are properly maintained and functioning. - Monitoring and adjusting traffic management plans as needed to accommodate changing conditions or unforeseen circumstances. - Investigating and reporting any incidents, near-misses, or non-compliance issues related to traffic management.

Job Requirements

- Proven experience in civil construction, managing traffic or similar relevant field - Formal training certification in Traffic Management may substitute for the work experience requirement - Eligible applicants need to be able to travel between or relocate to Auckland and/or Hawke's Bay. (The employer requires 15 workers in total to work between the two locations)

Days of work
Monday to Friday, with weekend job available (30 hours per week)
