This busy employer is looking for someone with the follow skills: • Professional piping skills • Tempering of Couverture • Advanced cake decoration • Advanced bavarois and mousse production • Advanced pastry lamination experience • Sugar boiling experience and knowledge in the use of a saccharometer TASKS • Wash hands on arrival and as often as necessary • Always scrub hands thoroughly and dry properly after being in the toilet • Check quality of raw ingredients • Always report when ingredients are getting low • Accurately follow recipes and instructions • Bake to optimum, monitoring oven temp. and product appearance • Fill and produce lunch items • Work in a hygienic orderly manner • Always clean your work space • Pack orders • Rotate stock • Ensure bakery is clean on leaving

Job Requirements

BAKER – PASTRY COOK OUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • Food safety units 167 and 168 • Trade certificate •
