Ensuring all Chinese Cuisine dishes are prepared to restaurant specifications. - Ensuring all restaurant Chinese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met. - Ensuring temperatures, seasonings and flavors are to specification. - Ensuring all foods are presented and served in a timely manner and in the correct sequence. - Ensuring the storage of foods and others meet restaurant and statutory Health and Safety requirements. - Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements. - Updating and developing new cooking techniques and procedures in accordance with the new menu. - General kitchen cleaning and hygiene duties. The listed hours of 30 per week are the bare minimum, with more hours during busy days.

Job Requirements

Some relevant working experience in Chinese Cuisine or level 4 or above cookery-related qualification. - Adaptable to change and able to multitask. - Be reliable and responsible. - Be fit enough to work under pressure in a busy kitchen. - Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime. - Must be flexible to meet the early morning and late night shifts. - Long-term and full commitments are required. - Complying with health and safety regulations. - Be able to pass a police check.
