An Otahuhu based employer is looking for Class 4 Truck Drivers. The job will be in the Auckland region.

Duties and responsibilities include: • Drive and operate the company truck to transport/deliver goods to clients. • Observe corporate policies and procedures in addition to truck driving laws and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break hours). • Supervise or assist with loading and unloading of the truck. • Ensure that all loads are secure and in good condition. • Plan the most efficient delivery route and maintain record of the things that are transported. • Keep track of driving distance, work/rest intervals, and fuel/toll receipts. • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador for the company, ensuring that great costumer service is provided to clients at all times. • Keep an eye out for mechanical or equipment issues and report them to management right away. • Ensure the truck is kept in a clean and tidy condition. Ideal candidate must have good attention to detail, must be a team player, a hard worker and is committed to grow with the business.

Job Requirements

Must hold a full clean NZ Class 4 Drivers Licence Must have a Dangerous Goods Licence Must pass MOJ and pre-employment drug test Must have a basic knowledge of computers Must be physically fit as the role might require some heavy lifting (25 kgs)
