A Northcote employer specialising in Whiteware and Household Electronics is looking for a Claims Specialist. They offer a comprehensive Price Promise - if the customer finds an identical product in stock for a better price at an eligible retailer, they will match the price and refund the difference to customers.

They need a Claims Specialist with relevant experience to join their young, dynamic team. Ideally, you will have come from a Claims Management, a high-volume Call Centre or Customer Service background in Insurance or Finance industry.

CLAIMS REVIEW AND APPROVAL

• Claims Review and Approval - review, analyse and validate sales incentive-related promotions, invoices and claims • Process and validate claims from customers • Ensure all Sales Promotions & Pricing align with company policies by liaising with Sales and Product Managers

CUSTOMER INTERACTION AND QUERY RESOLUTION

• Communicate with customers and sales teams regarding claims-related issues, providing guidance on the claim submission process • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, offering timely updates and resolutions • Review all rejected claims from customers and contact customers to advise outcomes • Process credit claims within set timeframes and adhere to company claims manual and procedures

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree qualification • Previous experience in a high-volume Contact Centre/Operations or Claims Management Industry • Proficiency in accounts and administration • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP • Ability to thrive under pressure and stay highly motivated

• New Zealand Citizen or Resident currently residing in Auckland • No issues with transport or unrealistic commutes - please note the job is based in Northcote, Auckland. This is not a work from home position • Able to pass police vetting • Experience in Customer Service (Call Centre; Insurance or Finance Industry) or Claims Processing
