CBEC EcoSolutions / Para Kore Te Hiku are Northland's waste reduction education experts and are looking for a Kaitaia based Environmental Educator. Your duties will include: Delivering waste minimisation units to Early Childcare Centres and Schools in the Kaitaia District, sourcing waste stream solutions rather than landfill and building up a knowledge base of alternatives, record keeping and follow-up accurate reporting (written, oral) and maintaining an online presence and some evening or weekend workshops.

The ideal candidate is passionate about protecting the environment and can inspire others to love it too, is self-motivated, reliable, an excellent time manager, and able to work independently without supervision, and as part of a team, AND is able to lead workshops and activities aimed at reducing our impact on Papatuanuku.

Job Requirements

1- have a Full Class 1 Driver licence in order to drive the Company vehicles. 2- have zero convictions in order to pass Police Vetting check. 3-be willing and able to work evenings and weekends, including 2 x Saturdays per month. 4- Have a Cover Letter explaining your suitability for this role along with your CV.

Days of work
You will organise your own hours, Mondays to Fridays, including two Saturdays per month. (16 hours per week)
