A renowned poultry business is looking for a new Sales Manager to join their team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building, motivating, and leading the Sales teams scattered throughout the North Island. You will create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base, meet with potential and existing clients and grow long-lasting relationships, set objectives, train and coach teams and monitor their performance, identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them, and ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress. Travel within New Zealand is a requirement for this role.

Job Requirements

We ask that candidates meet the following criteria: - Experience in managing a sales department - Superb leadership ability - Proven experience in FMCG sales to supermarkets, food service and hospitality - Self-motivation, having excellent organisational, planning and time management skills - Sound financial acumen, negotiating and decision-making skills - Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills - The ability to communicate effectively - Flexibility with work hours, having no restriction with overnight travel within the region - Professional written and verbal skills - Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite - Professional appearance and presentation - Have a Full, clean New Zealand Drivers' Licence

Days of work
Monday - Friday, hours flexible to suit tasks and customer requirements (40 hours per week)

95 - 130k per annum
