A Central Auckland takeaway and cloud kitchen through their online delivery portal is seeking to employ a Multicuisine Cook. Cuisines are Thai, Italian, Mexican, Turkish kebabs and Indian. - Prepare food from scratch including restaurant's own sauces, and batter from ingredients. - Creating and developing the menus in contemporary manner. - Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures. - Menu planning, preparing food cost reports and recommendation for the most cost-effective recipes. - Assisting with maintaining food production supplies and materials. - Monitoring the quality of food taste and presentation of dishes. - Staff training and Health & safety and Hygiene matters within the kitchen. - Ensuring high levels of engagement and performance. - Ensure compliance obligations are met in relation to Food Hygiene - Innovation; bringing new ideas, creativity, techniques, and trends to the table. - Collaborate with the wider team, share ideas to contribute to the business growth and exceed customer experiences. Minimum qualification at least level 4 certificate/diploma relevant qualification
