About this job

Working at a facility for alcohol and harm reduction supporting residents on the night shift roster. You will be required to cover reception and the security of the site and check residents are on site, monitoring of camera, adhere to all Health & Safety compliances, helping with dinner meals ie: cooking and/or preparation, cleaning as required of bathroom/toilet and assisting and supporting other staff with general duties as needed.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in engaging with people in similar roles within the support services. Understanding the drivers of housing insecurity, social disadvantage and the impact of mental health and addictions. Appreciate and value Te Ao and Tikanga Maori and be open to supporting and working with other cultures. You will have experience and be open to learning about residential alcohol harm reduction. Believe that life can be better than it is for people we serve. A Class 1 Driver licence is essential.

Days of work
4 days on and 4 days off rostered 6.45pm to 7.15am. (48 hours per week)
