Rotorua \ Kaingaroa are looking for 2 Plant Operators to join their team. Your duties \ responsibilities will include:

Maximise plant productivity through correct operation of all operating stations. a) Debarker • Correct product handling (may include appropriate liaison with Wagner operator). • Minimise discretionary cuts - focus on value. b) Grading • Correct and accurate identification and measurement of stem features. • All stem ID’s entered correctly. • Stems secured correctly. c) Cut Off Saw Constant observation to ensure correct: cutting solution product destination grading calls awareness of cutting plan/orderfiles maintenance/system issues d) Recovery • Maintain productivity through chippers to ensure targets are met. • Sound knowledge of maintenance of chipper knives. Change when necessary to ensure chip product specifications are met. • Undertake correct sampling for quality control. • Quick response to product jams. • Full understanding of KPP refuse system. Reduce slow running and troubleshoot all areas

Job Requirements

2 - 4 years experience in a similar role or within in the industry required. Training provided. Transport available for those who reside in Rotorua to Kaingaroa.

Days of work
Rotating roster of 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off Day Shift 7am - 7pm Night Shift 7pm - 7am (42.5 hours per week)
