About this job

Operate and maintain production equipment. Perform quality checks on finished products and raw materials. Ensure that product specifications, quality, and safety standards are met during the production process. Ensure that production targets are met. Communicate with Lead and Maintenance team members to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Assist with the training of new production operators as need. Coordinate the work of production team members, including training, and providing feedbacked. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that the work area is clean and organised at all times. Rigorously enforce H&S and Food Safety policies and practices, and the correct use of PPE. All Criteria of Good Manufacturing Practices are met. Ensure risks, hazards, near misses and incidents are reported consistently and accurately. Personal Hygiene & Hygiene standards are adhered to. Cover the Lead position in case of absence. A Ministry of Justice criminal history check is required. Passing a pre-employment drug test is required.

Job Requirements

3 years of experience in a production environment preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate the work of a team effectively. Computer skills - intermediate plus across all MS programmes. Strong English speaking and writing skills. Ability to read and follow written instructions Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR) excellence. Self-motivated. Being proactive and flexible in approach to job tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow strict procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed. A Ministry of Justice criminal history check is required. Passing a pre-employment drug test is required.
