Forestry is a major importance for NZ’s economy, and tending to the forest crops is a crucial part of that.

You will be planting Radiata Pine, carrying 11kg boxes and constantly walking up and down hills.

Planters receive $28 a box planted and Hillies receive $25 + 8%, with it to increase upon performance. Often referred to as the money season, there is an opportunity to make some really good money if you put the effort in.

You will be working in all weather conditions. Fixed-term Tree Planting from May – Oct, with the opportunity to continue into horticulture preparing kumara beds and planting, through to harvesting.

No pre employment drug test required, however you will need to complete 1 random test throughout the season.

Centralised pick up point in Dargaville.

Job Requirements

Will not work in storms/floods. Experience in planting, bush, landscaping, agricultural/farming, weed control type of work is preferred but not essential. This is hard work so need fit and able candidates Must like working outdoors

Days of work
6am-6:30am start - whenever you finish. 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. (40 hours per week)
