About this job

• Ensure all the cash is counted at the end of the shift any shortfalls are accounted for • Assist the manager in stock take • Make sure you take part and lead by example in all marketing activities under the guidance of the manager. • Open or close the shop as required. • Offer product suggestions when appropriate. • Staffing training with manager • Keep records of payroll and sending to bookkeepers every week • Any other cleaning required in the premises as per health and safety needed • Keep the food control book up to date • Assist manager in making roaster and ordering food supplies • Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and date control; restock and supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain the lowest supply cost. • Operate department equipment and tools. • Notify management of team member theft, guest shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement, or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy. • A Ministry of Justice criminal history check is required. • Passing a pre-employment drug test is required.

Job Requirements

• Must have a LQC (Licence Controller Qualification) • Have a professional approach • Ability to work under pressure • Organisational and time management skills • Excellent attention to detail • A Ministry of Justice criminal history check is required. • Passing a pre-employment drug test is required.
