A South Auckland & Eastern Suburbs based Company is looking for a Class 5 Concrete Truck Driver to join the team.

Delivering concrete to specification in a timely, manner at consistent high levels of quality.

You will be the frontline of their customer service so you will be someone who can converse well, be polite, friendly and professional.

Job Requirements

• Drive and operate trucks. • Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps. • Pre-inspect truck. • Pick up loads, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy. • Inspect trucks and record issues. • Follow health and safety procedures including wearing proper PPE gears. • Keep an activities log and log hours. • Plan routes using GPS system. • Maintain a positive attitude with customers. • Plan the delivery correctly so that the load are delivered on time. • Supervise loading of wet ready mix from the trucks. • Delivery wet ready mix in Auckland region and ensure its safe before unloading at the right place (tight space). • Maintain and update the record of all deliveries. • Inspect trucks on a daily basis for cleanliness and good working conditions. • Must wash the truck daily after the shift finishes. • Ensure to follow the traffic and driving rules. • Monitor and refuel oil in the truck as and when needed. • Report if there are any defects in the truck or if it requires maintenance.

Monday - Sunday - concrete pour start time can be between 12am - 6am (30 hours per week)
