A Christchurch based employer is on the lookout for an Installer. The role involves preparing, assembling, and installing fall arrest systems, handrails, walkways, and access ladders. It also includes inspecting and certifying fall protection safety systems to relevant AS/NZS standards. When working at height, the safety of the team and you depends on good communication and the ability to follow instructions. You must work well within a small, tight-knit team while showing initiative and a willingness to learn. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate may have: • A full driver’s license. • Working at Height Safety Advanced, EWP, First Aid and Site Safe qualification an advantage. • Basic computer skills • Commitment to workplace and public safety • Knowledge of the construction process and experience as a builder/roofer or height safety installer would be advantageous. • Able to use various hand tools (welding is not essential but advantageous). • A high level of physical fitness and confidence working at heights. • Convictions considered case by case. *Travel may be required full weeks away from home*
