Te Awamutu based employer is looking for 2 Front of House people. Duties include: - Serving customers in the bar area in accordance with the protocol set forth in the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 - Assisting restaurant manager with roster creation - Asking for and communicating regularly with other staff to gain feedback from customers and staff, and working with head chef to constantly improve product quality - Putting away deliveries and checking against invoices - Ensuring all staff are compliant with Liquor Licensing regulations - Keeping a clean working area and ensuring that all equipment, surface areas, floors and bar appliances are tidy, sanitary and similar to new condition - Assisting staff on the floor serving customers - Monitoring and documenting fridge and freezer temperatures to ensure that they remain within allowable limits under New Zealand Health and Safety laws - Completing daily incident report and advising restaurant manager of any issues or problems with deliveries, equipment, customers, or staff - Completing monthly stocktake reports - Monitoring, documenting and taking measures. This is a permanent part time role and work will be for min 15 hours a week approximately and up to 25 hours or more. More hours available for candidates wanting to work more hours
Random drug testing may be required. Must have clean criminal record. Experience in fine dining service preferred not a must have as full training will be provided. No driver licence preference but must have reliable transport to get to and from work. Duty Manager certificate would be beneficial but not a must have as employer will help in obtaining one.
