We are currently looking for a support worker in the Kerikeri/ Waipapa area. We look after our support workers, and constantly provide training to upskill and incentives. We are friendly, approachable and do what we say. Must be someone who has a caring attitude because you are in the homes of those you care for, you will need to have integrity, honesty, and commitment to the role. Experience in the disability setting is desirable but not essential as full training in the support needs of the client will be provided. However, a good attitude and a willingness to learn are essential attributes. Based on level of qualification pay rate: No level $23.38 /L2 $24.78/L3 26.94/ L4 $29.10 We pay mileage and travel time for travel as well. You will be required to be flexible with hours, days and evenings, and alternative weekends plus sleepover shifts. Based on different clients, it requires different hours and needs. Duties include: Assisting with all personal cares, working with the client and therapists to extend abilities, supporting outings in the community, and completing daily household tasks.

Job Requirements

• Healthcare and Well-Being certification, or any health care relevant qualification • Practical skills – knows how to use hoist/ personal care • Must have clean drivers’ licence and reliable transportation. • No Criminal record – such as assaults, fraud • Can do attitude, willing to learn, reliable and have interpersonal skills • Comfortable with adopting changes, compassionate and respectful

Flexible hours - day, evening and alternative weekend, sleepover shifts. (15 hours per week)
